Brains-sur-les-Marches is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rannée in the north and north-west, Fontaine-Couverte in the north and north-east, Saint-Michel-de-la-Roë in the east and south-east, and Saint-Aignan-sur-Roë in the south and Southeast as well as Drouges in the west.
