Gennes-Longuefuye is a French commune with 1,327 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Gontier and the canton of Azé .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by merging the previous municipalities of Gennes-sur-Glaize and Longuefuye , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Gennes-sur-Glaize.

geography
The municipality is located around 26 kilometers southeast of Laval . Neighboring municipalities are Fromentières in the north-west, Ruillé-Froid-Fonds and Saint-Charles-la-Forêt in the north, Grez-en-Bouère in the east, Bierné-les-Villages in the south-east, Châtelain in the south and Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne in the West.
