Gennes-sur-Glaize is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Gennes-Longuefuye with 997 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Gennois .
The municipality of Gennes-sur-Glaize merged with Longuefuye on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Gennes-Longuefuye. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Gennes-sur-Glaize was part of the arrondissement of Château-Gontier and the canton of Azé (until 2015: canton of Bierné ).

Gennes-sur-Glaize is about 62 kilometers west-southwest of Le Mans . Gennes-sur-Glaize is surrounded by the villages of Longuefuye in the north, Grez-en-Bouère in the east, Bierné-les-Villages with Bierné in the south-east, Châtelain in the south and south-east, Azé in the west and Fromentières in the north-west.
