Longuefuye is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Gennes-Longuefuye with 330 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Longuefuyens .
On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Longuefuye merged with Gennes-sur-Glaize to form the Commune nouvelle Gennes-Longuefuye. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Longuefuy was part of the arrondissement of Château-Gontier and the canton of Azé (until 2015: canton of Bierné ).
geography
Longuefuye is about 44 kilometers north-northwest of Angers . The municipality of Longuefuye was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Ruillé-Froid-Fonds in the north, Saint-Charles-la-Forêt in the north and northeast, Grez-en-Bouère in the east, Gennes-sur-Glaize in the south and Fromentières in the west.
