Le Buret is a French municipality with 309 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire in France . Residents of the parish are called buretins . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Gontier and the canton of Meslay-du-Maine (until 2015: canton of Grez-en-Bouère ).

Le Buret is about 25 kilometers southeast of Laval . Le Buret is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Cropte in the north, Préaux in the northeast, Beaumont-Pied-de-Bœuf in the east, Bouère in the south, Saint-Charles-la-Forêt in the west and southwest and Meslay-du-Maine in the west and Northwest.
