Quelaines-Saint-Gault is about 16 kilometers south of Laval . Quelaines-Saint-Gault is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Astillé in the north and northwest, Nuillé-sur-Vicoin in the north and northeast, Origné in the northeast, Houssay in the east, La Roche-Neuville with Loigné-sur-Mayenne in the southeast, Peuton in the south as well as Cosmes to the west and southwest.
