High & Hungry is the first collaboration album by German rappers Bonez MC and Gzuz . It was released on May 23, 2014 as a standard edition and box set via the distri label and is distributed by Soulfood .
production
Almost the entire album was produced by Jambeatz , the music producer of the 187 street gang. Only the beat for the song Klack 18.30 comes from Bozza .
Cover design
The album cover shows Gzuz and Bonez MC surrounded by green smoke, money, and marijuana . In the foreground is the title High & Hungrig in black, while the white lettering Gzuz & Bonez MC is at the top of the picture.
Guest Posts
In addition to the two protagonists, some of whom also have solo tracks, other artists are represented on the album. The 187 Strassenbande members Maxwell and Sa4 each have two guest appearances. In addition, the rappers Olexesh , Omik K. and Capuz can each be heard on one song.

High & Hungrig entered the German album charts at number 9 on June 6, 2014 and dropped to number 87 the following week before dropping out of the top 100. In November 2016, it was again placed at position 21 for a week. The album also hit the charts in Austria and Switzerland, ranking 28th and 36th respectively.

Florian Peking from rappers.in rated the album with four out of a possible six points. He writes that the two protagonists would manage to “put their own stamp on the gang starap”, which is mainly due to “that they simply work well as a team [and] their voices and flows harmonize.” The beats and themes were against this criticized as not very innovative.
