Hilla Hofer

Hilla Hofer (born December 16, 1914 in Berlin ; † 1990 ) was a German dancer , stage and film actress .

Live and act

Hilla Hofer went to school in a Berlin lyceum and received dance and acting training in the 1920s and early 1930s. It was used on the Reinhardt theaters of the early 1930s as well as in Erik Charell's revues (at the Metropol Theater ). They were seen and heard as soubrette at the Berlin theater on Nollendorfplatz . From 1956 Hilla Hofer was a member of the ensemble of Boleslav Barlogs Schloßpark - und Schiller Theater , where she stayed until the 1970s.

In the late 1930s, the artist was brought in front of the camera several times for small and medium-sized roles - initially primarily with dance performances. After the Second World War, Hilla Hofer was hardly active in film. The artist was married to her professional colleague Harald Paulsen, who was almost 20 years her senior . They had a son, the actor Uwe Paulsen .
