Hinrich Bomhauer

Hinrich Bomhauer (also: Hinrick Bomhauer and Henrich Bomhauer and Heinrich Bomhauer ; * before 1535 ; † November 23, 1553 in Hanover ) was a Hanoverian local politician .

Life

Hinrick Bomhauer was the first mayor of Hanover from the Meinheit after the Reformation . As such, he worked for around 18 years from 1535 until his death. His successor was Friedrich von Waida († 1556).

Bomhauerstrasse

Bomhauerstraße, which was laid out in the Hanoverian district of Kleefeld north of Berckhusenstraße in 1994, was named after the different mayors in 1553.
