Elisabeth asks her to give up her job in order to take care of her. Blondie gets jealous when Dr. Stein hires Anna as a doctor's assistant and begins an intrigue. Elke tries to expand her crooked business. November 22, 1999
101 3 Innocent Blondie receives a visit from journalist Bine Sanders, who wants to reopen her case. At the same time, Blondie learns that her sister was only faking her death. Jutta takes care of her terminally ill mother. Nina is banned from visiting Marlies, whereupon she decides to turn her back on her grandmother. December 6, 1999
102 4th rude awakening The situation around the hostility of Walter and Elke against Mona is coming to a head. When Mona orders Vera to kill Walter, Jule begins to switch sides, warns Walter and, disappointed, betrays her mother to Jutta. Mona then turns away from her daughter. December 13, 1999
103 5 Struggle for freedom Doris tries to get her sister to flee before the court hearing so as not to be incriminated. But at the last second, Blondie recognizes Doris' slyness and testifies in court. She is then acquitted. December 20, 1999
104 6th Lost Eva Baal begins her service in Reutlitz. Ilse regrets having to share the cell with Conny from now on. Lilly suffers from the conflict between Anna and Jan. December 27, 1999
105 7th Locked in When Conny's attempt to escape fails and she is locked in the truck, Jule is involuntarily involved in Conny's escape. Trapped in the truck, Conny suffers a ruptured appendix and can be saved at the last second. Jeanette and Dahnke contact each other in a chat room without knowing that they know each other in real life. January 3, 2000
106 8th Blind date At a meeting, Horst and Jenatte are disappointed to find out who is behind the two internet pseudonyms. Walter makes Birgit insecure with her rallies that Eva Baal is a lesbian when Eva wants to meet Birgit privately. Jutta is at the end of her tether taking care of her mother. January 17, 2000
107 9 Your last will Elisabeth wants her daughter to help euthanasia. Jutta initially refuses, but dreams of it that same night. When Jutta finds her mother lifeless the next morning, she initially assumes that she murdered her, but forensic medicine then confirms that Elisabeth killed herself with ant poison. January 24, 2000
108 10 Mona's mesh Thanks to Mona's contacts, she ensures that Walter is relocated to Prekow, but thanks to Elke, Walter finds suitable arguments against a relocation. Sabine Sanders has herself taken to Reutlitz to start a report in prison. But Conny discovers her secret and blackmails her. In an argument, Vera injures Mona so much that she loses her left eye. 109 11 Seeds of violence After Jan has made sure that Anna loses her job with Christoph in the infirmary, he takes a step towards his mother for the first time and understands her actions. 111 13 Angel in Reutlitz Ilse learns that Gregor is leaving Germany because of a job offer. When Jeanette also pretends to be a false angel from Reutlitz, Ilse is upset on the floor. The child that was saved by Ilse, however, exposes Jeanette as a con man. Melanie Schmidt is the new inmate who messes with Walter on the first day. February 21, 2000
112 14th In the abyss Mona is at the end of her strength and is bullied by all women. Elke begins to take over the drug business in Reutlitz. February 28, 2000
113 15th It's a nightmare Bine is bullied by Eva until Bine decides to let Eva win and to withdraw her appeal from the court. March 6, 2000
114 16 Chain reaction Elke gets to know Anna's son Jan on a day out. It turns out that Mel killed Susanne, but there is no evidence of this. Walter comes into the bunker after an attack, but she breaks out there and wants revenge on Melanie. Anna can prevent the worst, but when Walter stops killing Mel, Walter is attacked with a knife. Her life is in danger. March 13, 2000
115 17th The only witness Anna is put under pressure by Mel. But Anna testifies against Mel and risks her life. After long hours of uncertainty about her health, Walter wakes up in the hospital. Jan notices that his flirtation is Elke Anna's roommate in the prison. March 20, 2000
116 18th The power of music After Jan donated the CD to the prison, he can now make personal contact with Elke. Both "float on cloud nine". Mona learns of Jutta's lottery win and wants to instigate a marriage swindler on her. March 27, 2000
117 19th Good friends Dieter gets in contact with Jutta, because Mona has asked him to get Jutta's lottery win. Elke and Jan's relationship is put to the test. Surprisingly, Olli turns up again in Reutlitz. April 10, 2000
118 20th Waterloo Pastor Ahrens begins to investigate why Bine suddenly stopped her revision. To the horror of the inmates, Melanie comes back to Ward B. During a delegation evening with Swedish guests, the women put on an ABBA playback show. Conny uses the hustle and bustle to flee, but Dr. Kaltenbach recognized. Olli is then arrested for helping to escape and taken to the men's prison. April 17, 2000
119 21st The last resort Eva puts Sabine under pressure to accuse Pastor Ahrens of abuse. As a result, Sabine sees no further way out than to take her own life; Pastor Ahrens discovered it just in time. Elke spends her day outdoors with Jan. May 8, 2000
120 22nd Blinded by love When Anna found out almost at the same time that Elke was dealing with drugs and had a relationship with her son Jan, she wanted to prevent Jan from continuing to have contact with Elke at all costs. She reveals Elke to Jutta, so that although Elke's drugs are not found, Elke's cell phone is found. As a punishment Elke gets a curfew. Jan takes this very badly at his mother. May 15, 2000
121 23 Money or love Jutta learns of the lie that Dieter played to her together with Mona. Walter comes back to the ward and initially looks like a changed personality. When Dr. Stein hires a new doctor for the practical year, Jule meets her childhood sweetheart Nadja. May 22, 2000
122 24 Who once lies Mona learns of Jules' relationship with Nadja and selfishly wants to take advantage of this for her financial concerns. Mutz tries to help Bine attempt to escape when Eva Baal discovers her, Bine tries to help her, but Mutz injures himself badly. June 19, 2000
123 25th The last victim After her accident, Mutz is moved to a retirement home. The inmates find it difficult to say goodbye to the senior citizen. Conny and Bine attempt to murder Eva Baal. When Eva finds out, she wants to punish Bine again. When Bine struggles, a fire breaks out in the prison. Pastor Ahrens rescues the unconscious Baal from the cell, but then succumbs to the flames and dies. June 26, 2000
124 26th Eva's truth Before Bine can testify against Eva, Eva kidnaps Bine to freedom and makes it seem like an escape. During the kidnapping, Bine learns why Eva has sadistic tendencies. Eventually Bine hitchhiked to France. Tom Weber manages to convince Jutta to hire him as the new turnkey. Mona comes out of the hospital with a deceptively real glass eye. July 17, 2000
