It is located in the Föhrenberge Nature Park , near the border between the communities of Perchtoldsdorf and Kaltenleutgabe . The Hintere Föhrenberg is located in the northeast of the Föhrenberge Nature Park. It is the highest mountain in the municipality of Perchtoldsdorf . It is connected to the other mountains of the nature park and especially to the many quarries and rocks by hiking trails . Geologically , the Hintere Föhrenberg belongs to the Northern Limestone Alps .
Infrastructure
On the summit there is the seasonally managed Kammersteinerhütte , as well as a small transmitter and the Josefswarte viewing platform .
