Hitoshi Sogahata ( Japanese 曽 ヶ 端 準 , Sogahata Hitoshi ; born August 2, 1979 in Kashima ) is a Japanese football player who has played for the Kashima Antlers since 1998 .

Hitoshi Sagahata has been a regular goalkeeper for Kashima Antlers for years . He was nominated four times for the Japanese national soccer team between 2001 and 2004 and took part in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens .

Sogahata emerged from the Kashima Antlers youth team .

Between 1998 and 2016, he won the Japanese Championship seven times, the Japanese Cup three times and the Supercup four times, and came second at the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup with Kashima Antlers
