Höbersdorf church square

Höbersdorf is one of the nine cadastral communities in the market town of Sierndorf .

It has 419 inhabitants. A relatively large, public kindergarten, accessible to children from all cadastral communities, and a small general store are located in the village. There is also a Heuriger with regular opening times, a village church and a train station.

Höbersdorf is the seat of a Lower Austrian state kindergarten. The children are divided into three groups of around 20 children each.

  • Church: Höbersdorf is a Roman Catholic parish and consists of the two villages, Höbersdorf and Untermallebarn . The head office (church and parish home) is in Höbersdorf. In Untermallebarn there is a large chapel where masses are only held on special occasions . The church in Höbersdorf is consecrated after John the Baptist . Behind the church is a cemetery. The current pastor is Father Andreas Hiller.
