Hogan Knows Best is an American reality TV show that follows the everyday life of the family around father and professional wrestler Terrence Gene Bollea aka Hulk Hogan . The series premiered on July 10, 2005 on the American TV channel VH1 . In Germany , the series has been running on MTV since June 6, 2006 . On November 26, 2007, it was announced that Linda had filed for divorce. Thereafter, no more episodes were produced.

Seasons

season 1

  • 1.1 Brooke's First Date

Hulk Hogan allows his 17-year-old daughter Brooke to go out with a 22-year-old friend of his son Nick's. But there is one catch: Hulk secretly attaches a GPS transmitter to her car so that he can keep an eye on her. But that's not all: your brother Nick starts telling his dad old memories of his boyfriend. Like, for example, that he wears a pierced nipple, is a party person and has visited homosexual beaches with him at one point or another.

  • 1.2 Nick's Girlfriend

Nick has a new relationship, his dad doesn't like that because he spends way too much time with her. At an autotuning meeting, he tries to pair his son with another, but the attempt fails. When the family finds condoms while secretly searching Nick's room, a family talk is needed.

Hulk does his best to grant his daughter's request from the pop star, so he arranged a meeting with a manager. When it bursts due to discrepancies, the next chance, the Grammy Awards, goes on . Hulk thinks it's a good idea to go there to get in touch with the greats in the music business.

WWE Chief Vince McMahon visits Hulk to bring news of his being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame . Of course, Hulk says yes to this invitation. But Vince also wants Hulk to step into the ring again at Wrestlemania 21 . His family is not happy about this because of their concern for Hogan.

  • 1.5 Romantic Getaway

Hulk and Linda take a vacation and children Brooke and Nick now have to be babysit by wrestler and friend Brian Knobbs aka "Nasty Boy". Problems inevitable.

  • 1.6 Versus City Hall

The Hogan family goes to court. Since a neighbor complained about the high number of pets, the local council got involved. Hulk and Linda are said to have one or two animals too many and therefore give them to the animal shelter. At the end of the episode it is mentioned that a court later ruled in favor of the Hogan family.

  • 1.7 Hulk's hobbies

After years of active wrestling career, Hulk gets bored because he rarely gets into the ring. Mrs. Linda and his children are trying to find a new hobby for their father.

season 2

  • 2.1 Brooke becomes self-employed (Brooke Breaks Away)

Brooke is upset that she has no peace and quiet at home. She demands that Hulk move into her own apartment by herself. Hulk agrees and lets them move into the family's beach house with a friend, but not without monitoring them.

  • 2.2 Kids Get A Reality Check

After Hulk sees the credit card bills, he insists they make money themselves. There is no longer any telephone, internet or television as means of pressure. Instead, they should go waitress.

  • 2.3 Family Vacation

The Hogan family goes on their annual vacation trip to Key West. Arrived, Brooke goes on a tour of discovery. When she doesn't come back, Terry and Linda fear that something may have happened.

  • 2.4 Nick Gets The Bug

Nick wants to follow his father professionally and is aiming for a career as a professional wrestler. Hulk, who doesn't like to see this, hopes to get his son out of the way through particularly hard training. A very good episode for WWE fans as you get a glimpse behind the scenes of the wrestlers. Stars like Batista , John Cena , Big Show are represented in this episode.

  • 2.5 Hogans Go Hollywood

Hogan ventures to Hollywood to play Zeus in the movie Little Hercules . In addition, he has managed to get small roles for the rest of his family as well. When he catches a 26-year-old from the film crew approaching 17-year-old Brooke, he goes nuts.

  • 2.6 Anniversary Surprise

Hulk and Linda are celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary. Linda wants to learn ballroom dancing because of this, but Hulk is reluctant. But in the end they danced.

  • 2.7 The Hogan Boyfriend Test

Brooke brings home her "friend" Jerry, who is himself a musician and is supposed to help her prepare for a performance. Hulk suspects there is more to it. For Jerry, that means he must undergo special tests that Hulk will take to find out if he is worth dating his daughter.

After a bloody match at Summerslam 2005 against Shawn Michaels , Hulk realizes that his career as a professional wrestler is slowly going downhill. He is looking for new ways to remain successful and using his name to advertise various products.

Linda feels lethargic and too fat. She thinks that Hulk's advice won't help, so she hires a new age guru to help her entire family live a healthy lifestyle. Not only does the guru try to swap the contents of the refrigerator, but he also suggests that the whole family do an intestinal irrigation. High time for Hulk to put an end to the ghost.

  • 2.10 Monkey Business

There is trouble when Linda brings home a baby monkey because Hulk didn't know about the little surprise. The little animal turns out to be a far bigger troublemaker than expected.

Nick turns 15 and drives around in his car without a driving instructor. He does it too colorfully and gets into trouble with the police.

After spending nearly a year looking for a music producer, Brooke finally found an interesting one. However, the question arises as to whether he also meets Hulk's claims.

Hulk turns 57 and the family is planning the best family vacation ever! For Hulk, a trip on an excursion boat is pure horror because of its popularity.

  • 3.3 Brooke Faces the Music

Brooke's new schedule for the day leaves her in despair and she's soon enough to think she can no longer. When her producer begins to doubt her willingness to work, Hulk steps in.

  • 3.4 Koshermania

After the Hogans had repeated problems with their neighbors in their old homeland, they now hope to find neighborly peace in Miami Beach. For this reason Linda decides to throw a barbecue party - with unintended consequences!

  • 3.5 Brooke's Dating Game

Even if Hulk doesn't like it when Brooke meets boys, he agrees to make an interesting bet with Linda and Nick: Who will organize the best date for Brooke?

  • 4.4 Keeping Up With Nick

Hulk and Nick no longer have such a good relationship as Nick grows up and only hangs out with his friends. Hulk doesn't like this, so he decides to build more common interests - everything from hip-hop music to instant messaging to car racing.

  • 4.5 Hogan Knows workouts

Linda feels too fat so she wants to exercise. But Linda doesn't want to train with Hulk, she wants a personal trainer. Of course, Hulk doesn't like that.

  • 4.6 Brooke's Older Boyfriend

Linda and Hulk find out that their daughter is hiding something from them. Brooke has a new boyfriend. Doesn't sound so wild at first if it wasn't already 30 years old! Hulk's plan to end the relationship by inviting Brooke's ex-boyfriend home ends in chaos. Because now his daughter has two admirers on the cheek.

The family makes vacation plans. Now Linda can decide where to go. She chooses Wyoming on a ranch.

  • 4.8 Birds and the Bees

Since Nick is a real womanizer, Hulk thinks it is high time to have a serious man-to-man conversation with him. Nick doesn't take Hulk seriously, so he gives Nick a mean job.

  • 4.9 Hogans in Disguise

Brooke makes an appearance in Orlando. Nick and Brooke want to go to an amusement park, but Hulk is against it, as a whole crowd of people have wanted to sign autographs at the amusement park so far. But Nick has a fabulous idea.

  • 4.10 Brooke Breaks the Bank

Brooke spends too much money on shows, clothes, and other things. That's why Hulk teaches her how to handle money properly.

  • 4.11 Father of the Year

Hulk is named Father of the Year 2007 in New York . But before that he visits his mother, who recently had a stroke. There are minor arguments between his mother and Linda.

Season 5

"The Hogans take a break after completing Season 4, as Season 3 and Season 4 were shot in one go. After we have had enough break we will maybe shoot a 5th season. "

Due to the divorce from Hulk and Linda, Brooke's move from Miami to Los Angeles because of her music career and the problems with Nick, who was in custody for a car accident in the meantime, there will be no 5th season of Hogan Knows Best .
