Holger Fliessbach

Holger Fliessbach (born January 30, 1943 in Berlin ; † August 29, 2003 in Grafing near Munich ) was a German translator.

Life

Holger Fliessbach in 1973 at the University of Munich with a thesis on Mechtilde Lichnowsky Doctor of Philosophy PhD . He then worked as a translator of non-fiction books from English and French .

Fliessbach was a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , VdÜ, for whose trade journal Translate he volunteered for a long time.

His father was the lawyer Wilhelm Fließbach , the physicist Torsten Fließbach is his brother.
