Carsten Holger Scholze (born July 8, 1971 in Wolgast ) is a German stock exchange correspondent , moderator and sports official . Since 2018 he has been president of the SG Dynamo Dresden soccer club .

Life

Scholze, who was born during his parents' holiday on the Baltic Sea , grew up in Bautzen , where he also passed his Abitur . His father Rainer was a master watchmaker, jeweler and Vice President of the Saxony Trade Association; his mother Susanne and her husband managed the family business that had existed since 1892. In his youth, Holger Scholze played football , later switched to athletics , where he was active in the decathlon as well as three and long jump . In 1992 he began studying dentistry in Dresden , in 1996 he began studying business administration , was also involved in the stock exchange interest group at the Technical University of Dresden and was for several years chairman of the board and spokesman for the advisory board of the student association, of which he was made an honorary member in 2008 has been. On October 8, 2018, Scholze was initially appointed by the SG Dynamo Dresden's supervisory board to the football club's transition committee. As the successor to Andreas Ritter , he took over the office of President. In this he was confirmed on December 19, 2018 at a general meeting.
