The Holm Westend 69'ers are the baseball and softball department of TSV Holm from Holm .

Teams

The 69ers have six teams: a women's team and two men's teams, a youth team, a junior team and a school team that participate in the games of the Schleswig-Holstein Baseball and Softball Association (SHBV).

The most successful team is the first women’s team that has played in the North Season in the softball Bundesliga for several years . In addition, the first men's team has played in the 2nd Bundesliga since 2017.

Naming

The name of the association is derived from the location of the hometown Holm, which is to the west (at the " Westend ") of Hamburg. The number "69" was chosen because the average year of birth (year of birth) of the founding members was 1969.

Tournaments

The Westend 69'ers organize the Whitsun tournament every year, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2017. The tournament takes place on the lawn of the sports facilities in Holm with mostly international participation.
