The Homburgerbach is an approximately 12-kilometer-long left tributary of the Ergolz in the Swiss canton of Basel-Landschaft . It flows through the Homburgertal and drains an area of ​​around 30 square kilometers.

The Homburgerbach is created by the confluence of the two source streams Murenbach and Hauensteinbach in Läufelfingen at about 549  m above sea level. M. The mudflow stream rises to about 778  m and the sculpting Steinbach to about 666  m , both directly on the border to Canton Solothurn .

The Homburgerbach flows mainly in a north-westerly direction through Buckten , Rümlingen , Diepflingen and Thürnen and flows into the Ergolz at the eastern border of Sissach at about 372  m from the left.
