The Honda RC213V is a racing motorcycle that was developed by Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) and has been used in the MotoGP class, the highest prototype category of the FIM - Motorcycle Road World Championship , since 2012 .

Achievements and statistics from 2012 to 2014
The combination of Honda Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner won twelve of the 18 races held in the 2012 motorcycle world championship . With this, the two pilots secured the runner-up title behind world champion Jorge Lorenzo on a Yamaha and third place in the drivers' world championship. Together with the other Honda works drivers Álvaro Bautista , Stefan Bradl and the substitute driver Jonathan Rea , Honda became the constructors' world champion with 412 world championship points .
In 2013 , Honda won nine races with this machine. In particular, MotoGP debutant Marc Márquez alone won six times; four times in a row. Dani Pedrosa took three more wins. Together with the other regular Honda drivers Stefan Bradl and Álvaro Bautista, Honda also won the 2013 constructors' championship ahead of Yamaha .
The 2014 season began very successfully for Honda. Marc Márquez won the first ten races on his RC213V.
Technical specifications 2013 model
Compared to the 2012 motorcycle, the rigidity of the chassis has been further increased. The twin-economy aluminum chassis can now transmit more than 170 kW to the rear tire. The fairing of the motorcycle is made of CFRP . The water-cooled V-engine with four cylinders has a displacement of 1,000 cm³. The mileage is given as 2,000 km. Due to the regulations, the tank holds 21 liters.
Both the telescopic fork at the front and the swing arm with simple spring damper (“Pro-Link”) at the rear work with damping elements from Öhlins . Bridgestone is the tire supplier . The tire size is 125/60 R16.5 inches at the front and 190/65 R16.5 inches at the rear. The front brake with carbon brake disc is supplied by Brembo . The steel brake disc for the rear wheel is from Yutaka . In rain races, a steel brake disc is also used on the front wheel.
Technical specifications 2014 model
The machine was presented for the 2014 motorcycle world championship in June 2013. In accordance with the technical regulations for the coming season, Honda reduced the tank content to 20 liters.
Replica
In 2015, Honda launched a street legal version. The sales name is RC213V-S . The motorcycle cost 188,000 euros and developed 159 hp at 11,000 rpm and weighed 170 kg dry. Buyers could later order a racing kit for their RC213V-S . When installed, the machine developed 215 hp and was 10 kg lighter.
