The RC213V-S is a motorcycle in the super sports / superbike category from the Japanese manufacturer Honda , 250 of which were custom-built by a special team in 2015 and 2016.

She is a street-legal replica of the MotoGP - factory bike Honda RC213V .

Differences to MotoGP motorcycle

The pneumatic valve springs have been replaced by coil springs . The so-called "seamless gear" is also not used. It was replaced by a roadworthy one. These two components were borrowed from the RCV1000R, the MotoGP motorcycle in the Open category. The steering angle has been increased from 15 to 28 degrees. The following parts have also been added for road approval: lighting , license plate holder, horn , side stand, speedometer and rearview mirror .

Others

As part of the Catalonia Grand Prix on June 14, 2015, the motorcycle was driven by two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner for a few demonstration laps.

Potential buyers were able to fill out a reservation form between July 13, 2015 and September 30, 2015 on the specially created website . The purchase price for the motorcycle was 188,000 euros. A race kit could be purchased for a motorcycle for a further 12,000 euros.
