technology

Many features have been taken over from other, larger-displacement Honda models, but the CB 125 R weighs only 125.8 kg and the revised liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from the Honda CBR 125 R brings smoothness and revving and enables even the lower to medium speed range powerful acceleration. Its power is brought to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox.

The frame is equipped with sturdy plates to hold the swingarm and the chassis geometry allows high driving stability with agile handling and the best feedback. The steering head angle and the caster are 24.2 ° / 90.2 mm. The balanced load distribution also ensures good feedback from the front wheel and pleasant steering behavior. The motorcycle weighs only 126 kg, whereby the arrangement of the components is very centered so that the center of gravity is far ahead. The front fork with a diameter of 41 mm comes from Shōwa and harmonizes with the motorcycle.

Braking takes place at the front with a 296 mm front wheel brake disc, which is mounted in a floating manner and is acted upon by a Nissin 4-piston brake caliper with a radial mount. On the rear wheel, a 1-piston brake caliper accesses a 220 mm brake disc. A 2-channel ABS based on an inertial measurement unit (IMU) ensures protection against blocking. The CB 125 R has tires with 110 / 70R-17 at the front and 150 / 60R-17 at the rear.
