Horischnje Salutschja ( Ukrainian Горішнє Залуччя ; Russian Горишнее Залучье Gorischneje Salutschje , Polish Załucze Górne ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 1300 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1449, formed until 1947 with the neighboring village of Dolizhnye Salutschtschja ( Долішнє Залуччя , ⊙ ) a common place with the name Залуччя над Черемошем Salutschtschja nad Tscheremoschem , in German Salutschtschja nad Tscheremoschem , in German Salutschtschja nad Tscheremoschem .
Horischnje Salutschtschja is currently the administrative center of the 23.32 km² district council of the same name in the south of Snjatyn Rajon , to which Dolizhnye Salutschtschja with about 1,800 inhabitants still belongs.
Geographical location
The village is located on the left bank of the Cheremosh , an 80 km long right tributary of the Prut , which forms the border between the historical landscapes of Pokutien and Bukovina . Horischnje Salutschtschja is located 8 km southwest of the district center Snjatyn and 95 km southeast of the Oblast center Ivano-Frankivsk . Located on the opposite bank of the Cheremosh, already in the Chernivtsi Oblast , the city, Vashkivtsi . Territorial road T-09-09 runs to the west of the village .
