Hornsburg is a cadastral municipality and a place in the Lower Austrian municipality of Kreuttal .

The place is located between Großrußbach and Unterolberndorf . The fortified settlement of Türkenschanze and two circular moats are located in the forest south of the village .

It is believed that the builders of the circular moat systems around 4850 BC. Lived here. They were cattle farmers of the Tisza culture who had immigrated from the Hungarian-Romanian border area. But Celtic shards were also found.

The Ritzendorf group of houses also belongs to the cadastral community .
