The Houzée (also spelled Houzé ) is a river in France that runs in the Loir-et-Cher department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the south-western municipality of Oucques La Nouvelle , drains in an arc over southwest to northwest and flows into the Loir after about 21 kilometers in the municipality of Areines , opposite the city of Vendôme , as a left tributary .
