Crucheray is a French municipality with 381 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and is part of the canton of Montoire-sur-le-Loir (until 2015: canton of Saint-Amand-Longpré ). The inhabitants are called Cruchérois .

Crucheray is about 44 kilometers northeast of Tours and about 29 kilometers northwest of Blois . Crucheray is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Anne in the north and northwest, Vendôme in the north and northeast, Coulommiers-la-Tour in the northeast, Périgny in the east and northeast, Villeromain in the east, Pray in the south, Lancé in the southwest, Nourray in the west as well Villerable in the northwest.
