Villetrun is a commune with 322 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and is part of the canton of Montoire-sur-le-Loir (until 2015: canton of Selommes ). The inhabitants are called Villetrunois .

Villetrun is about 24 kilometers north-northwest of Blois . Villetrun is surrounded by the neighboring communities Rocé in the north and northwest, Faye in the north and northeast, Selommes in the south and east and Coulommiers-la-Tour in the west.
