geography

Villavard is about 44 kilometers north-northeast of Tours and about 45 kilometers west-northwest of Blois on the Loir , which borders the municipality in the west. Villavard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Rimay in the north and northeast, Houssay in the east, Sasnières in the south, Lavardin in the southwest and Montoire-sur-le-Loir in the west.
