Vallée-de-Ronsard is a French municipality with 523 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Montoire-sur-le-Loir and the Arrondissement of Vendôme .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous communes of Couture-sur-Loir and Tréhet , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new commune . The administrative headquarters are located in Couture-sur-Loir.

geography
The municipality is located around 30 kilometers west of Vendôme on the border with the neighboring Sarthe department . The north-western boundary of the municipality is formed by the river Loir , into which the Braye tributary flows from the opposite bank . Neighboring municipalities are Loir en Vallée in the north, Sougé in the northeast, Artins in the east, Les Essarts and Montrouveau in the southeast and Villedieu-le-Château in the south, and La Chartre-sur-le-Loir in the west.
