Le Temple is about 50 kilometers northwest of Blois and about 58 kilometers north-northeast of Tours . The municipality borders on Cormenon in the north and northwest, on Choue in the north, on Saint-Marc-du-Cor in the northeast, on Beauchêne in the east, on Danzé in the southeast, Épuisay in the south and on Sargé-sur-Braye in the west.
