Saint-Gourgon is a French municipality with 113 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and is part of the canton of Montoire-sur-le-Loir (until 2015: canton of Saint-Amand-Longpré ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Gourgonnais .

Saint-Gourgon is about 38 kilometers west-northwest of Blois . Saint-Gourgon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Amand-Longpré in the north and west, Gombergean in the east and south-east, Saint-Cyr-du-Gault in the south, Villeporcher in the south and south-west and Villechauve in the south-west.
