Gombergean is a French municipality with 188 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and is part of the canton of Montoire-sur-le-Loir (until 2015: canton of Saint-Amand-Longpré ). The inhabitants are called Gombergeanais .

Gombergean is about 36 kilometers northeast of Tours and about 22 kilometers west-northwest of Blois . Gombergean is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lancé in the north, Pray in the northeast, Lancôme in the east, Françay in the south and southeast, Saint-Cyr-du-Gault in the south and southwest, Saint-Gourgon in the west and Saint-Amand-Longpré in the northwest.
