Villiers-sur-Loir is a French commune with 1,131 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Vendôme and the Canton of Vendôme (until 2015: Canton Vendôme-1 ). The inhabitants are called Villiersois .

Villiers-sur-Loir is a banlieue in the west of Vendôme on the Loir . Villiers-sur-Loir is surrounded by the neighboring communities Azé in the north, Vendôme in the east, Naveil in the south and south-east, Thoré-la-Rochette in the west and south-west and Mazangé in the north-west.
