Le Poislay is a French municipality with 181 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Le Perche (until 2015: canton of Droué ) and the arrondissement of Vendôme .

Le Poislay is located about 65 kilometers north-northwest of Blois in the Le Perche countryside . Le Poislay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Commune nouvelle d'Arrou in the north and east, Droué in the south and south-east, La Fontenelle in the west and south-west and Le Gault-Perche in the west and north-west.
