Meslay is a French municipality with 312 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and the canton of Vendôme (until 2015: canton of Vendôme-2 ). The inhabitants are called Melaisiens .

geography

Meslay is located about three kilometers northeast of the city center of Vendôme on the Loir River . Its tributary Réveillon runs along the northern municipal boundary . Meslay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Firmin-des-Prés in the north and northwest, Rocé in the east, Coulommiers-la-Tour in the southeast, Areines in the south and Saint-Ouen in the west.
