Les Roches-l'Évêque is a French municipality with 279 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and is part of the canton of Montoire-sur-le-Loir . The inhabitants are called Rupiépiscopiens .

geography

Les Roches-l'Évêque is located about 48 kilometers north-northeast of Tours and about 50 kilometers northwest of Blois on the Loir , which borders the municipality in the southeast. Les Roches-l'Évêque is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lunay in the north and east, Saint-Rimay in the south and south-east and Montoire-sur-le-Loir in the south and west.
