Savigny-sur-Braye is a French commune with a population of 2,017 (as at 1st January 2017) in the Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and the canton of Le Perche (until 2015: canton of Savigny-sur-Braye ). The inhabitants are called Savignards .

Savigny-sur-Braye is located on the Braye River about 40 kilometers east-southeast of Le Mans . Savigny-sur-Braye is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marolles-lès-Saint-Calais and Sargé-sur-Braye in the north, Épuisay in the northeast, Mazangé and Fortan in the east and southeast, Lunay in the southeast, Fontaine-les-Cotaux and Cellé in the South, La Chapelle-Huon in the southwest, Saint-Gervais-de-Vic in the west and Saint-Calais in the northwest.
