Ambloy is a French municipality with 185 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vendôme and is part of the canton of Montoire-sur-le-Loir (until 2015: canton of Saint-Amand-Longpré ). The inhabitants are called Ambloyens .

geography

Ambloy is about 38 kilometers northeast of Tours and about 37 kilometers west-northwest of Blois . Ambloy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villiersfaux in the north and north-east, Huisseau-en-Beauce in the east and north-east, Saint-Amand-Longpré in the south and east, Pruhay-Cassereau in the west and south-west and Houssay in the west and north-west.
