Hubert Schwarz (politician)
Hubert Schwarz (born August 6, 1923 in Berlin ; † April 9, 2004 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Hubert Schwarz attended grammar school and graduated from high school in 1940 . He was then drafted into the Wehrmacht . After the Second World War he studied pedagogy at the University of Göttingen from 1946 and passed the first state examination for teaching in 1948 . In 1949 he joined the German Trade Union Federation (DGB). With the 2nd state examination in 1954, Schwarz became a teacher for special education in Lower Saxony . In 1958 he was transferred to Berlin and joined the SPD in the same year. From 1964 he became head of a special school . Since Herbert Kleusberg was elected district mayor in the Spandau district, Schwarz moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives in December 1967 . Until 1979 he was a member of parliament.
In 1959, Schwarz joined the association “Lebenshilfe for the mentally disabled”, the “ Albert Schweitzer Children's Village ” and the “Association for Youth Welfare”.
