Hubertus Koch

Hubertus Koch (born August 29, 1989 in Dorsten ) is a German journalist and filmmaker .

biography

Hubertus Koch grew up with two brothers and his single mother in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region . He later studied German in Munich . At the same time, he worked as a freelance editor in the football team at Sport1 (formerly: DSF). In 2013 he finished his studies, from then on lived in Cologne and worked as a freelance filmmaker. During this time he made his debut film Addicted to Jihad - the film of a little boy , which was mainly shot in Syria . Koch has been working for the public service online service funk since 2016 . There he produced short video documentations for the YouTube channel Y collective . On October 3, 2018, Koch opened a second funk channel on Youtube called “Unity & Rap & Freedom”. This dealt with German hip-hop , but was discontinued in 2019.
