Hubertus Regout

Hubertus Regout (born July 26, 1969 in Brussels ) is a Belgian actor who lives and works in Germany .

biography

His father Georges Regout (1935–2005) comes from a Belgian-Dutch factory owner family. His mother Oda von Przyborski (1938) comes from a noble Austrian family . Hubertus is the oldest of three children. The parents have been divorced since 1978.

Hubertus Regout grew up in Brussels and Vienna . After studying in Switzerland , he lived in Paris for two and a half years . There he worked for several fashion houses, including as a model . He was also a guest student for art history at the École du Louvre. He grew up trilingual with German, French and English and speaks Spanish.

After his time in Paris, Hubertus Regout learned the profession of actor in Munich (at the Ruth von Zerboni drama school and at Schauspiel Munich ).

During his training he had his first engagement at the Bavarian State Theater in Nathan's death by and under the direction of George Tabori . After engagements in the Weilheimer Theatersommer under Cordula Trantow and the Rheinisches Landestheater in Neuss (1995-96), he moved to Berlin, where he appeared in the Sophiensaele and the Schillertheater workshop, among others .

From 2005 to 2007 he was seen in the 645 episodes of Sat.1 - Telenovela Verliebt in Berlin in the role of Hugo Haas . The series, which is one of the most successful in recent German television history, was awarded the German Television Prize and the Golden Rose of Lucerne .

He then played the role of Hagen in the musical Elixir with the music of Tobias Künzel at the Dresden Comedy .

Hubertus Regout made the movies Ausgestorben (1995, short film ), Walk on Water (director: Eytan Fox , Israel, 2004), as well as the films Suck My Dick (2001) and Agnes und seine Brüder (2004) by director Oskar Roehler .

From 2009 to 2010 he played the role of Baron Eduard von Tepp in the ARD early evening series Verbotene Liebe .
