Hugo Grille

Hugo Grille (born August 14, 1870 in Löbau ; † June 12, 1962 in Munich ) was a German judge and administrative lawyer.

Life

As the son of the later Privy Councilor of Justice Paul Hugo Grille and his wife Agnes Clara geb. Reichel was born in Löbau and attended the Grimma Princely School . He then began studying law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and moved to the University of Leipzig in the winter semester of 1892/93 . In 1893 he became active in the Corps Saxonia Leipzig . As an inactive he finished his studies in 1896 at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In 1897 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD. Then he hit the civil service career in the Kingdom of Saxony . In 1898 he was judicial advisor in Löbau and then royal Saxon governor in Meißen , where he founded the Meißner Kunstverein in 1917. founded. In 1919 he became police chief in Dresden , where he was dismissed in 1922 for withholding news about the Upper Silesian Freikorps . He found a new job as a judge at the Dresden Higher Administrative Court , where he was promoted to director. From 1 February 1931 to 1937 he was District Chief (District President) of Kreishauptmannschaft Chemnitz . His successor was the SS Brigade Leader Emil Popp .

Grille was a member of the National Socialist Lawyers' Association and a Rotary club . On September 4, 1937, the German Rotary clubs dissolved under him as governor with effect from October 15, 1937.
