Characteristics

The Teufelsfels, one of the sights along the Hunsrückhöhenweg

The Hunsrückhöhenweg leads mostly over paved paths, but due to the large number of inclines to be overcome, the degree of difficulty is considered to be high. Some of the sights along the hiking trail include the vineyards along the Rhine and Moselle, the Teufelsfels natural monument , the historic old town of Herrstein and the Thonet Museum (Boppard) in Boppard.
