Deuselbach is a municipality in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Thalfang am Erbeskopf . Deuselbach is a state-approved resort .
geography
The local community is located in the Hunsrück at the foot of the Erbeskopf . The annual mean temperature is 8 ° C. The closest medium-sized centers are Bernkastel-Kues and Morbach . Trier is about 40 kilometers away.
history
Deuselbach was first mentioned in a document in 1112.
Until the end of the 18th century, Deuselbach belonged to the Dhronecken office in the Wild and Rhine County . After the French Revolution , the Left Bank of the Rhine, and with it Deuselbach, was taken over by France in 1794 . Deuselbach was assigned to the canton Hermeskeil in the Saardepartement from 1798 to 1814 . Due to a law of March 26, 1798, the French repealed feudal rights in the region. After the end of French rule, the place came to the Kingdom of Prussia in 1815 . Since 1946 the place has been part of the then newly formed state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Until the municipal administration reform of Rhineland-Palatinate in 1969, the Hunsrück town was part of the Bernkastel district .

Municipal council
