history

The place Heinzendorf gold was in the middle of the 16th century by the Lords of Zwole and Goldstein founded. It is probably named after Heinz von Zwole. Before that, the village of Nikolausdorf , traceable since 1325, existed between Heinzendorf and Stiepanau , which was extinct during the Hussite Wars . In 1557 Andreas Lachnit, who probably came from Hohenseibersdorf, was appointed as the testament in Heinzendorf and was allocated two Hufen land. Wenzel von Zwole granted the 14 subjects who had founded the village in 1558 a temporary exemption from all easements towards the rulership until 1564. By order of the district chief, the word "gold" was deleted from the place name and the village was henceforth referred to as Heinzendorf under the Dürren Koppe . In 1654 110 people lived in the place. In 1677, Heinzendorf consisted of 13 large farmers, six small farmers and five residents. At that time the office of inheritance was carried out by the miller Kaspar Lachnit. In 1770 a single class village school was established. In 1785 Heinzendorf had 273 inhabitants and in 1791 there were 310.

After the abolition of patrimonial Heinzendorf formed under the Dürren Koppe / Hynčina a political municipality in the Mährisch Schönberg district . After the construction of a new school, the old school building served as a poor house from the end of the 19th century and burned down in 1900. The extinct mining industry was resumed in 1916 by the entrepreneur Hermann Buhl from Mährisch Altstadt with 50 miners. A little later, a dynamite explosion destroyed the mine facilities. As a result of constant rain, Heinzendorf was hit and inundated by floods on June 23, 1919. In 1930 there were 282 people living in Heinzendorf, all of whom apart from two Czechs belonged to the German ethnic group. In 1937 the border fortifications were built along the German border. A cable car from Heinzendorf to Dürre Koppe was built in June 1937 to transport materials to the barracks and bunker construction in the Glatzer Schneegebirge. As a result of the Munich Agreement , the municipality was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Mährisch Schönberg district until 1945 . In 1939 Heinzendorf had 281 inhabitants and in 1946 there were 274. After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled to West Germany in four transports in 1946 . In 1961 it was incorporated into Chrastice and in 1976 together with it to Staré Město. At the same time, Hynčice pod Sušinou also lost the status of a district.

Today the village is primarily a resort and winter sports center. There are two ski lifts in Hynčice.
