IC 2748 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E3 in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 932 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 2740 , IC 2749 , IC 2757 , IC 2783 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 27, 1906 .
