IC 2751 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type E1 in the constellation Big Bear at the northern sky . It is an estimated 458 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter .

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 2735 , IC 2738 , IC 2744 .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on May 22, 1903 .
