I Just Had Sex is a song of the American comedy - hip-hop band The Lonely Iceland , which together with the singer Akon has been picked up by DJ Frank was produced E. It was released as the first single from The Lonely Island's second album Turtleneck & Chain in May 2011. The video, as Saturday Night Live - short film was presented, showing Akon and the band members as they talk about their sexual experiences.
Background and success
I Just Had Sex was written by The Lonely Island in the winter of 2010. The band rented a house in Los Angeles and created a makeshift studio there to record the song. The song was released on December 19, 2010 and sold over 250,000 copies in the first two weeks in the United States. The video was posted on YouTube the same day and has since received over 295 million views.
Music video
The music video for the song features Akon , Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone singing about how they have just had sex with their dissatisfied girlfriends (played by Blake Lively and Jessica Alba ). The music video takes place in New York City on the MetLife Building with the backdrop of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building . Central Park , the individual households of the people, a bakery, a bathroom, a museum, a pub and a girls' changing room are also shown in the course of the video . The song also features tennis player John McEnroe and Lonely Island member Akiva Schaffer . The music video ends with fireworks .
