Jorma Taccone

Jorma Christopher Taccone (born March 19, 1977 in Berkeley , California ) is an American comedian , screenwriter , actor and director . Together with his school friends Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg , Jorma forms the group The Lonely Island .

Childhood and youth

Taccone was born on March 19, 1977 in Berkeley, the first son of Sue Ellen and Tony Taccone , who is a director at the Berkeley Repertory Theater . He went to high school with Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg and then attended the Film School at the University of California, Los Angeles . In June 2007 he married Marielle Heller at Mission Ranch in Carmel . The couple has had one child since December 2014.

Career

In 2005 he joined the ensemble of Saturday Night Live like Schaffer and Samberg and stayed there until 2012. During this time they created numerous digital shorts for the show , including "Lazy Sunday" with Chris Parnell , "Jizz in my Pants", "I'm on a boat" with T-Pain , "Dick in a box", "Motherlover" and "3-Way (The Golden Rule)" with Justin Timberlake . Taccone produced much of the music on Incredibad , The Lonely Island's first album. In 2007 he starred in the film Hot Rod with Andy Samberg, directed by Akiva Schaffer. He starred in The 'Bu with co-star Sarah Chalke . In 2010 he was the director of the film MacGruber .
