Ibrahima Sory Sow

Ibrahima Sory Sow (born March 13, 1941 in Conakry ) is a Guinean diplomat and politician .

Life

Sory Sow studied philosophy and German at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig from 1964 to 1970 and received his doctorate in 1973 and 1976 from the departments of philosophy and German. From 1977 he was a lecturer in history and political development at the University of Leipzig. From 1984 to 1985 he held the office of Legation Council at the Foreign Ministry in Conakry . From 1986 to 1995 he was a member of the German Guinean Association, which he helped found. As Chief Financial Officer of the national agro-industrial company. Sory Sow worked from 1990 to 1992. From 1995 to 2002 he was Deputy National Assembly and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. In 2010 he was Minister for Health and Hygiene. From October 19, 2011 to July 29, 2014, Sory Sow worked as ambassador in Berlin with simultaneous accreditation in Vienna , Stockholm and the Holy See. Since July 29, 2014 he has been ambassador in Beijing .

Ibrahima Sory Sow is married and has three children.
