obituary

“Ida Pellet has undoubtedly been one of the most accomplished, talented actresses of recent times. Beauty, grace, lovely gestures, comprehension and a magic of language, a sound of voice that penetrated deeply to the heart. Whoever saw her in the 5th act of “Maria Stuart” will agree. She was not yet at the highest level of art she could achieve. But she already stood out far with fiery striving. Then death in its final form broke the beautiful, youthful existence in the midst of full bloom "
